What is Tandem Skydiving?
Tandem Skydiving has been around since the early 1980's. Tandem Skydiving is when two people fall through the sky both attached securely to one specially parachute system. The good news is that one of these people is a qualified Tandem Instructor, the other person is you!

Tandem Parachute Equipment
Your Tandem Instructor wears a Tandem Parachute which is designed and engineered for two people and you wear a specially designed Tandem Harness which attaches to the Tandem Parachute System securely at 4-points. Before exiting the aircraft your Tandem Harness is tightened up securely to ensure a safe and exciting Freefalll. We provide you with all the equipment you need for Skydive. All you need to wear is comfortable casual clothes and runners with laces.

Exciting Aircraft & Freefalling @ 200km/h
Everything you need to know about exiting the aircraft and your Freefall Body Position will be explained to you during your 20 minutes of training which takes place prior to your Skydive. After exiting the aircraft the you will accelerate to a Freefall speed of 200km/h (Terminal Velocity) in just 10 seconds. You will FreeFall for a total of approx 25 seconds and experience the Ultimate Rush of FreeFall Skydiving.

After the Parachute Deploys
At approximately 5000ft (1525m) your Tandem Instructor deploys the main parachute. Once the parachute is fully open everything will become quiet and you will experience a feeling of bliss and wonder. You will be able to talk with your Tandem Instructor. At this point you will be asked if you would like to asist steering and fly the parachute. This is very exciting as you fly around the sky like a bird. The Parachute flight lasts approximately 4-5 minutes until touchdown. The Tandem Instructor will take control again for landing.

The Landing
When we land the Parachute we land into the wind just like airplanes and birds. The Tandem Instructor reminds you to get into your landing position (Legs up and feet and knees together) and then slows down the Parachute (called flaring) before touch down for a nice soft landing.
